This was a very nice hotel. You certainly can't beat the location! The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and well furnished. My only complaint is it seems parking spaces are hard to come by - at least on Saturday night. I would definitely return!

We were able to check in early 1pm, which was great as we only had one day in San Diego. The location is gorgeous with water on both sides of the hotel. The grounds and pool are very nice and we had a wonderful relaxing lunch with a beautiful view of the marina and pelicans flying back and forth on the deck of the restaurant. We will be back, but next time for a longer stay!

The staff at this hotel was awesome, very helpful and concerned that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The house restaurant was good, however there are so many places to eat in and around San Diego we only ate there once. If you stay here make sure you check out the Bali Hai, it's a short walk and has a great view of the bay. Food and service was very good. When we got to the hotel, they asked if we wanted a harbor or bay view. At their recommendation we took the bay view. This proved to be the right move for us. The mornings and evenings we spent on the veranda watching cruise ships and military ships coming and going regularly. There is also a great walkway all along the shore which is well lit and clean. The only negative would be there were no vending machines in our building and the ice machine was only on second floor. If you like late night munchies, bring it with you. We will be back.

We cannot say enough good compliments about this hotel, service and staff. Contrary to some opinions, rooms were more than fine. To say they are dated is overly critical. We look forward returning. Oh, one more thing, service is outstanding. Whatever we asked for or requested, showed up promptly or if it was going to take some time, staff communicated that upfront - but still came through faster than we expected.

We had a clean, tastefully decorated room with a small balcony just a few feet from the Marina. Fun watching the boats and activity of the marina. Beds were very comfortable. Small fridge and microwave were handy.
