I would recommend the Renaissance Hotel to others traveling to the Dallas Metro area. It was easy to get to via interstate roadways and located in an accessible area to other shopping and entertainment areas. The hotel could use some better lighting in their parking lot and more security outside the building. The parking lot was a mess - cars parked every where. They should consider redrawing the parking space lines allowing more room for cars/trucks, etc. The spaces are too small and forces people to park sideways using up to two spaces.

11/15/2011The staff at the bar/restaurant in the lobby were very nice. we needed to break a bill for cab fare and the employees gave us change without a hassle.

We stayed one night in this hotel for a quick trip. On the way there, we called to see if we could check in early and get a room with a downtown view. We were able to do both. Other than the decorating scheme (not one thing seemed to match another), the room was very comfortable and very clean. The heated pool was great, as was the hot tub. Neither were crowded. Parking was plentiful and, best of all, complimentary.

Beautiful hotel. I expected the pool and hot tub to be full of people, but for a warm night, it was almost deserted up there. We'll stay there every time we go to Dallas. Exquisite view of Dallas at night from our Hotel room!!!
