My girlfriend and I stayed at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Feb, 13th thru Feb, 22nd. This was my second stay at the Outrigger, the first was 6 years ago or so? I was pleased with my experience before, but this time was much better. They've made a few changes since my last stay, and I can say all for the better. The pool area had quite the overhaul and seemed somehow more enjoyable than before? The lobby and shops also had been improved, even the rooms looked like they had been updated style and decor wise. The staff was as friendly as ever and very accommodating. We had booked a standard room, which didn't have the best view (All my fault... Get an ocean view, it's well worth it!) and was offered an upgrade at no additional cost, which I thought was so generous of the hotel. They definitely appreciated my repeat business. I can't say enough about the Outrigger, it's staff and of course, the beautiful beaches and breathtaking views.

Our stay at this hotel was a top notch experience. The staff was very competent and friendly. They truly know how to make you feel welcome. The housekeeping staff made sure our accommodations were always clean and fully stocked; the concierge was most helpful with planning activities; the restaurants offered a great variety and were moderately priced; the valet service was impeccable; and the front desk made check-in and check-out a breeze. The pool area was always clean and inviting and the shops offered everything we could want. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Outrigger: THANKS for a great experience!

My husband and I stayed at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The rooms were great and very clean. Housekeeping was very friendly and kept our room spotless. There was nightly music by the pool which was relaxing. The three restuarunts on the property were all good. The Shore Bird has a great buffet and the Ocean House was wonderful for a sit down meal. The only negative is the beach area. If you want the true Waikiki feel, it a bit of a walk to that part of the beach. The beach by the hotel is okay for laying out but rocky for swimming. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our one year anniversary and had a great experience. We dined at both restuarants, the more casual one was a bit pricey for a cook your own food place, the other no complaints at all. WONDERFUL. We had an ocean view room. One night while in our room with our curtains open we saw fireworks over the ocean from our bed!! And on another day a rainbow! It was beautiful! The only complaint we had was the service at the pool. They don't start serving alcohol or food until 11 a.m. if I'm not mistaken. When on vacation we like to be pampered so it was a little annoying to have to get up and order stuff from the bar before then and to boot they would only let my husband get one drink, if I wanted one I had to go with him to get a drink. I understand it's for identification purposes, but I've been to other places where they are open at the crack of dawn serving you and constantly checking to make sure there's nothing else you needed. Even when the pool servers were available you practicly had to wave them down or something to get their attention. But other than that it was truly a wonderful experience. OH the timeshare presentations and reps are really pushy!!
