I was satisfied overall with Marco Polo Ramada Hotel. On lower level going to swimming pool, there was a strong odor smelling like sewer that definitely needed attention. The inside restaurant was very good. Good food and good value.

The location right on the oceanfront was perfect. The hotel is in need of some TLC (updating). However, we were not there to sit in the hotel room we were there for the beach and it is right on the beach PERFECT! It was disappointing the bar and grill at the pool didn't stay open any later than 6 p.m., so if you wanted a drink you had to go inside the hotel to the bar (which there isn't access to from the pool) or a bite to eat you had to head to the restaurant. Keep in mind this hotel is not right in the middle of the nightlife, shopping or anything of the sort, if we wanted to go somewhere it was always a taxi or bus. The staff did the best they could to try to help us out with getting us where we wanted to go but there was a language difference which was a struggle once in awhile, but we got where we wanted to go in the end. There is a resort fee but that isn't a surprise it says that on their website it includes internet, breakfast buffet and things like that. It was a great family get away.

This place was very clean, the staff was absolutely wonderful. Its located right on the beach and has a pool too. Its located in a great area. The rooms are no smoking but it has a balcony which fixes that issue. This was an awesome place to stay at and Id definately stay again.

Most travelers only post when experience negative hotel so i wanted to share a most positive one here at Marco Polo Miami Beach. 1st moment valet staff takes care of you. First person I meet is Mgr. Matthew Manning and right away knew professional care with personal touch = first class stay! Great room with amazing ocean views plus Mr. Manning called personally to make sure everything was on point! Professional staff, valet, concierge and breakfast all asked about stay and if they could help. For an older but classy property on miami beach can not be more pleased. 10 miles from crazy south beach yet so tranquil locale with awesome sunrises, great beach all in one. plus local pizza place downstairs is real italian with other restaurants close. Great vacation in south florida would recommend and will come back. Top to bottom first class hotel. Mike O

This hotel needs renovation very bad. The bathroom was in a horrible state...Staff of the hotel: understaff, poorly trained, and on occasions unpleasant. The hotel maybe for non-smokers, but the smell of marijuana in the corridor was not very pleasant for those of us who do not smoke! Hotel needs more staff, and better trained staff at that. Breakfast: scramble eggs every day and oats!
