For 12 wonderful days we enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. Great room with a partial view of the ocean from the balcony. Service was great as was the pool area and the drinks. Since we were there for a long stay we appreciated the laundry facilities at pool level. The location of the hotel was a big plus. Practically on the ocean and yet had bus routes on each corner. Great info from the staff and what to do and how to get everywhere. Bus service on the island is a fantastic bargain. Also the bus drivers are very helpful. The weather was perfect for our Feb. holiday. Only suggestions were minor re better lighting in the bathroom area and the inclusion of a makeup mirror

For 12 wonderful days we enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. Great room with a partial view of the ocean from the balcony. Service was great as was the pool area and the drinks. Our stay at Waikiki Marriott Resort was GREAT. they immediately tried to upgrade us to bigger room. My wife and I arrived in Hawaii on Sept 5, 2010 the day after our wedding. We were already excited about spending our week- long honeymoon there, but the quality of the hotel added to that excitement. The location was GREAT. Everything was mostly in walking distance but there were plenty of buses to take u where you needed to go. The bed in the hotel room was extremely comfortable, the pillows were to die for. I would definitely recommend any to stay at this place.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and close to what I wanted. Parking is over priced if you have a rental car. Hertz has an agency at the hotel, rent there and you might save on the parking fees. No complaints about the staff. We did not eat at the hotel but the food looked and smelled great. If you are looking for a quiet get away then you might try somewhere other than Honolulu.
