  The staff at the mark hopkins were so very kind and welcoming. they always had a smile, were helpful with directions, getting taxis, whatever i needed. my only disappointment was ...

  The staff at the Mark Hopkins were so very kind and welcoming. They always had a smile, were helpful with directions, getting taxis, whatever I needed. My only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. For $36 I expect fresher food not the overheated leftovers found later in the morning.

  Had wonderful stay at the intercontinental mark hopkins on nob hill. beautiful location, building and atmosphere. felt very special to be staying there.

  Because it is not in the middle of either fisherman's wharf or union square it is quiet, but convenient. the cable cars to california street or to the other ...

  Because it is not in the middle of either Fisherman's Wharf or Union Square it is quiet, but convenient. The cable cars to California Street or to the other two places are by the hotel, so it's easy to get there. China town is two-three blocks away and if you don't mind steep streets, Union Square is within walking distance.
