This hotel was more than I expected. From the service to the room, everything was wonderful! A really good price for the hotel and room. The room was very clean and everything about the hotel said elegance and class. The area it is in doesn't look convincing but once inside it was beautiful. Don't be afraid to call the operator for questions with everything from how much a taxi would cost to Fisherman's Wharf to questions about booking a tour. Even though it is an old hotel everything was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and they had good water pressure in the shower. If you are flying there, the double decker bus tour was a very useful way of transportation, you can get on and off for 2 days for one price. Make sure to take citysightseeing bus. Sears fine food is just a couple stores up and really good! Overall a really nice hotel and worth the price I paid.

We have no complaints about the hotel - the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was good for what we needed. We slept very peacefully and never heard any outside noises! There were a lot of people begging in the area and that was disturbing when out walking - The city of San Francisco should deal with this issue! The parking was $ a night and people need to know that when planning a vacation! We did not eat in the hotel restaurants so I cannot comment on that. I would definetly stay here again! Thanks for another great travel bargain!

Excellent hotel . We were very comfortable in our room on the 28th floor. The glass elevator on the outside of the building is better than a Disneyland ride. Location is everything! I will stay there again.

My wife and I went to spend our anniversary in San Francisco and had a great time. The Westin St. Francis was in the best location possible for us on our first ever visit to Frisco, right in Union Square! The shopping was great and the hotel was within walking distance from many restaurants and local sites (trolly cars, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, Little Italy, and AT&T Park).Would definitely stay there again!!
