Bistro food is ok. A little much for what was served. Extremely slow service. Good for first meal upon arrival if it is too late to search for food. Good spot to stay to walk to all museums, subway and galleries. We did have dinners at 7th and 8th Streets and walk back every night. Deli is good enough for fast breakfast every morning. Food trucks close by every lunch time too. Bed - not that good, kinda old and lumpy.

From the walk into the hotel til the family of three left it was a great stay. We were there for seven days, one block of the Mall. Every thing was a short walk. The subway was easy to learn and seamed safe to use, this let us see other part of Washington DC. Bottom line is our next trip we will stay at this hotel again.

Close to everything, all you would like to see is a very short walk. Hotel was perfect for what our needs were. We were there over X-mas and we had small stocking put on our door X-mas morning, this was a very nice thought so far from home.
