Liked hotel overall, but there was a cart in hallway on our floor near our room, that had left over food on linen cart on Sunday afternoon and cart was still there 24 hours later untouched. We also were tired of staff asking us about free gifts for listening to discussion about time share? Area located around Habitat elevators. We were approached almost every time we came through that area.

The Flamingo was in a perfect location for our needs. Central on the Strip and a Monorail stop. There were many options for dining nearby and the pool felt wonderful on a hot day! Rooms were clean and had plenty of room. We would stay at the Flamingo again!

The hotel was easy to get around and parking garage was convienent. Housekeeping didnt give us clean washcloths one day and no clean glasses daily. The floor had an old price tag from a guest, it stayed on the floor till day 4. Rug was not vacuumed daily. We heard noises the first two nights loud voices and doors banging. One night the fire alarm went off at 3am and kept ringing for a while. Hard to get back to sleep.

Staff were not friendly. Even though reservations made 6 months in advance roon still wasn't ready when we arrived at 8 pm....was told it was "first come first served". Really? Concierge very rude, nit helpful when we had an odd sitaution and needed help; said they didn't know what to do but didn't offer to get security or even the manager. 3 of the 5 blackjack dealers we had were just downright rude amd obnoxious and had to wait for our drinks at least 30 minutes....and that was with tips even. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
