I've decided I want to live here - if only my budget would allow that luxury! I have managed a branded hotel, so it is easy for me to spot little things & knit-pick rooms, hotels & the staffs because I notice the things I would be doing differently or where housekeeping has “missed a spot” or worn/soiled carpets etc. But I actually have ZERO complaints about this facility or their staff – I am very impressed! Sort of last minute, I decided to do a mid-week "get-away" so I chose a location close to my office. I absolutely loved my stay here. The appearance of the hotel upon entry was impeccable. The clerk was extremely friendly & helpful when I checked in. The common areas are clean, well lit but with a warm, inviting ambiance. Even with guests milling about and enjoying conversations in the lounge area - the atmosphere was quiet & peaceful. My room (a 2 room suite) was nicely appointed and cozy. My room overlooked the expressway but noise was not an issue at all. The bed was beyond comfortable & I found I didn’t want to have to crawl out of it when it came time to get ready for work. The location is barely 20 miles from my home & 2 miles from my office, but I will definitely be returning for a weekend visit when I can stay in bed and enjoy the relaxation this hotel provides. The complimentary breakfast provided for guests is cooked to order (not continental or buffet) - I was looking forward to enjoying it - but sadly I slept in (thanks to that comfy bed) & had to rush off to work without breakfast.

We hope to come back to this hotel next time we are in Dallas! Although it was a large hotel, the staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful. I would recommended this hotel if they continue to maintain the price at a reasonable cost. That is primarily what drew us initially.

The hotel is located at a busy freeway intersection but is actually pretty easy to get to using access roads (particularly after you have done it once). It is advisable to check out your route before you go. The complimentary breakfast at Embassy Suites' hotels is much better than at most hotels.
