We travel alot and always have loooked for Comfort Inns as we have found them clean and comfortable, not any more!!!! After three weeks in New Orleans, four cans of bed bug spray, cleanning our own room, filthy carpet and rude staff, not to mention a trip the the ER for a shot to help with the itching from head to toe bed bug bites we will not be staying in another comfort Inn. When the manager was ask about the bed bugs, he did not even look surprised told us" yes he had had problems with that." The hotel did pay for the hospital bill and our out of pocket expense, for bug killer spray and medications Needless to say we are never going back to this hotel If you like cockroaches and filth this place is for you , otherwise stay away, or risk taking bugs home with you

I was excited to stay at a moderately priced 3-star hotel in New Orleans, but after leaving, I'd give it 1.5 at best...It appeared that everything we encountered needed updating: the paint, hot elevators, decor, air conditioning and the staff. The room smelled smoky and never cooled off, though the air was full blast the entire day. The front desk attendant was rude, not helpful and we waited approximately 45 min to have our car retrieved from the parking garage. There are a lot of fantastic "historic" hotels in NOLA, but this is not one of them - it is just old and gross. We were very disappointed and not comfortable at all. The only plus was the relative location.

Overall this Hotel was a value for the money. Located a 5 minute walk from Boubon Street. Hotel staff was very good, room was clean. Included breakfast a plus. room was a little dark since the window to the outside was not clear glass- felt a little bit closed in.
