Staff were friendly everywhere we went. Rooms were clean, linens and towels freshened daily. As for the additional "daily fee; THAT is total B.S. to charge an additional $16 a day for use of pool 'Motel 6 is free', internet 'days inn is free', shuttle to airport and strip for 18 hours of a 24 hour city 'free at most hotels', and NO option as to if you choose not to use these "extras" you will still be charged for them. We called in advance after seeing posts regarding this additional charge per night and were told our rooms were paid in full...checked in and they needed a $100 hold on credit card, when I inquired as to what sort of hold THAT is when they advised us of the daily usage fee of $16 per day. After attempting to explain to the clerk and us getting a little loud the manager we requested to talk to finally arrived....he offered to remove the charges from one of the three rooms....NOT FAIR to the other couples, his next offer was to remove one charge from each of the rooms and comp $20 per couple to cover a buffet dinner or cafe meal. Very Very poor business management. Slots were loose but that doesn't make up for over charging guests for normal hotel services. Will NOT stay here again.

BEWARE! Additional fees charged AFTER you arrive - at the cost of $16.79 per day!! Says Hotel Service fees.....shuttle, internet, pool, room cleaning. You are not given the option to refuse these. I had been warned of this fee and telephoned them prior to our trip and was told no additional fees - duh me didn't have the person's name to prove it but then again they probably would have said she didn't work there anymore anyway. They did comp us 1 day only of the fee and a food comp..... but still had to pay fee for 3 other remaining days. Would I stay there again - NO WAY. Room was ok, pool was ok, staff was good.

My husband and I stayed the week of July 20th, 2009. We went to Vegas for our 37th wedding anniversary... We DID enjoy an excellent dinner in the steakhouse the first evening we were there, our acutual anniversary, and staff brought us a cheesecake slice with a candle. It was lovely. The salmon and steak were truly excellent. The staff in that restaurant were friendly and just great.. BUT then, it was all downthill. Our newly remodeled tower suite (and it was a lovely room), had a BIG COCKROACH crawling around in the middle of the room at 11 in the morning broad daylight, the next day. The staff said "It was just a little waterbug. They come in all the time from the pool". They moved us to a new room and told us we would be "comped" for the room. However,at check out, a surly employee was not helpful . We had spoken with a manger when we switched rooms, Theresa, who has indicated we would be comped for the room. The hotel clerk would not get the manger for us "She was in a meeting". When we got home, they had charged us for the room on our Visa, (That is ilegal, we did not agree to the charge OR sign for the bill). The coffee shop was horrible service, surley employees...pool was marginal with a lot of dead "waterbugs" . Exercise room was musty. There older hotel section in the bag of the room with economy rooms looks like a slum. Sincerely, I know a cockroach when I see one, and the place is crawling. with them... NEVER will go back. There are SO many nice places in Vegas to stay.., DO NOT STAY HERE! (We managed to have a good time anyway, left the hotel

Courtyard Rooms are 1-star quality. Tower rooms are 3 star

There is night and day difference between the courtyard and tower rooms. We were first given the courtyard room, but after spending no more than 15 minutes in there, we asked to be moved (it was that or leave hotel entirely). The room was very noisy with hallway noise as well as foot traffic from room upstairs. It smelled strongly of cigarrette smoke (non-smoking room), was cramped, had a tiny bathroom with pedestal sink and corner shower, and carpet was frayed and torn--a definite dumpy feel. We were very pleased with the tower room we were provided--very roomy, large bathroom, chair/ottoman, reading lamp, free internet access, and approx. 42"" television. What a positive difference! My only complaint with this new room the conversations clearly heard in the room next door till the wee hours of the morning. Also, the hotel description states the hotel is only minutes away from the strip. It will take their shuttle to get there as you cannot walk to the strip and you're restricted to their one and only drop off point at the strip and to their limited pick-up and drop off times--proved to be a hassle. The extra charges of $+/day could not be avoided despite my polite attempt to eliminate them with the desk clerk. They did, however, provide a free daily b'fast buffet from a clean, on-site restaurant.
