The frequent shuttle takes you for free to the Fashion Show Mall, which is the very north point on the strip, but still not too bad. I booked late, maybe a week before Halloween, and got the best hotel deal, so I expected a motel like environment, but got a super nice hotel instead. The only thing was... the crowd was a bit on the older side. Not that it bothered me, since I didn't spend too much time in the hotel anyway... what mattered to me was that the room and everything else was great.

The rooms that are discounted so low should be clearly identified as not really on the property but in a older annex. The rooms were not very clean and although identified as non-smoking, the odor seems to permeate everywhere.

I was returning to Las Vegas after about 10 years and I was expecting the hotel to be a mediocre experience. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the ambiance and friendly reception. They upgraded me to a suite which was excellent by all means, spacious, neat , comfortable, amenities, food, service and what not. I liked it to be slightly out of the busy strip area and it was still close and convenient to go all the places on strip and I could still walk in the fresh air . I shall rate this a first class experience and this hotel will be my first choice always whenever I come to las Vegas on business or with the family on a pleasure trip.
