Although we had a nice time in Las Vegas, we were a bit disappointed in Palace Station. We had a Courtyard Room, which was very small and worn down. It reminded us of an old roadside motel. The window looked out on what appeared to be a jobsite trailer. On the upside, the bathroom seemed newer, with nice tile and a good shower enclosure. The staff were friendly and helpful. Palace Station has a shuttle to the Strip (and the driver was great), but it doesn't run often enough to be user friendly, and we ended up paying for several cab rides. The Casino itself seemed in need of refurbishment, as some of the game tables seemed a bit shaky. We did enjoy breakfast at Coco's in the middle of the night. If you're planning to stay here, I would recommend trying a Tower Room, but with so many other choices in Las Vegas, I don't think we would stay here again.

Our car broke down right by the hotel, so we called to see if they had an available room. They did, and boy was it horrible! We were right by the freeway. The window was broken and we could hear all of the traffic from the freeway, plus the parking lot traffic and pedestrian traffic. We could hear the maids vacuuming over head in the room above us....sounded like a helicopter first thing in the morning. The maids kept coming to our room over and over to see if we were gone yet. It wasn't even check-out time! We were tortured all night with the noise, then they try to get rid of us as soon as they possibly can....RUDE!!!

I have stated there many times and have had one bad experience which other trvelers have mentioned, the Courtyard room;s. They suck or at least when I was there the first time! After that time I opted to the Tower room's, Nice! At laeast I thought they were. Not at problem. Other thing's that trveler's have said about hidden Fee's, well if you did not read your Info before you booked it had said that the charges would be applyed at checkout! People, READ! It is a bit from the Strip but if you want to be by the Strip then book on the Strip! Food is good and the Price good depending on the time and who you book through, Varies big time!

Got a second floor Cortyard room. No elevators in Courtyard. Courtyard hallways and room carpet needs to be replaced. Its old, tore up at places with musty smell. $ extra charge per day was excessive. Staff was courteous, but they would not upgrade the room from Courtyard to the Tower room without a minimum $* per day charge. Food is good with reasonable prices. Breakfast Feast Buffet for $* is great bargain.

I was upgraded from a courtyard room to a Tower room, which was very nice. Everything was updated and it was nice and clean and comfortable. For the most part it was quiet and I would stay there again. Although it was a nonsmoking floor there were times that it seemed smoke came through the ventilation system and you would have sworn that someone was smoking on the floor, but I don't think they were. Otherwise, it was very nice. Oh, stay away from the room service, which was below average, especially for the price.
