01/03/20131. chose green option for bedding for first 2 days. requested bedding change on 3rd day but was told by housing staff that because i was checking out the next ...
1. Chose green option for bedding for first 2 days. Requested bedding change on 3rd day but was told by housing staff that because I was checking out the next day they would not do so. 2. Toilet would not flush properly even after maintenance call. 3. Shower pressure dropped to almost nothing late on Sat nite while preparing to go out for the night. 4. Green Westin cards were not accepted by Green Bar staff while our traveling companions were. 5. Elevator operations were teriible. At times had to wait for 20-30 min for service. We were on 26th floor and my wife is handicapped

My only downfall with this hotel was our room was on the opposite wall of the elevator. The room was not sound proof enough and the elevator was heard all night long. This hotel is centrally located, close enough to "Bourbon Street" and to the wonderful shops and restaurants that so famously make up the New Orleans Cuisine.

We celebrated my Mom's 90th Birthday there. Everything went right! The hotel provided a wheelchair for Mom to get around and go gambling downstairs, served us a fabulous breakfast in bed, and arrived promptly when needed to adjust the air conditioner or bring extra towels. We absolutely loved the excellent service and felt very well taken care of. Even the 2 restaurants in the hotel were wonderful--great food, great service. I'd definitely recommend the Westin in the French Quarter to everyone! R. D., Los Angeles, CA
