Here for a couple of nights, I enjoyed hearing about the local restaurants from the front desk staff, who were helpful and full of southern hospitality. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfy bed. (I am not tall, so I don't know if it would be the same for someone 6'6") It is not far from the airport, so convenient for a business traveler with a rented car.

This La Quinta had recently undergone a facelift but was really coming together nicely. Conveniently located, this hotel met my requirements to be close to the airport and close to the downtown convention area. The staff was very nice and the continental breakfast was a welcome treat. The pool wasn't open for the season yet (it was mid-May) and it was hot out but still no pool access. It might be a liability thing but if its in the 80s and 90s and May, let's open the pool!

We had a very nice stay at this location. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The front desk personnel was friendly. Breakfast we good with variety of choices. I recommend this hotel and will stay there again when the need arises. Beds are very firm which I personally do not like, but if you like a firm/hard mattress it's great.
