My husband and I stayed here for two nights and will be back again. The suite had a separate bedroom, two closets, two HD TVs, free wifi, a lovely bathroom with great towels, plenty of pillows, a kitchenette with dishes and was very clean and nicely appointed. I loved the neighborhood and it was a short walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro station. It felt very safe and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was street noise in the morning, so you might want to bring ear plugs.

My son and I stayed here at the front end and back end of a college visit trip. Staff was very friendly...door man let us borrow his personal umbrella to walk to monuments one rainy evening. Perfect walking location to GWU campus, metro, Whole Foods, & monuments. Italian restaurant on site is wonderful. We also got a late check out and valet kept car till 3:00. Highly recommend!

Went to DC for a short vacation with total 2 families with teenagers. Also toured GWU. This hotel was perfect. Next to GWU campus (right next to the medical center) and 2 blocks from the Metro. We had a very good rate (much less than any other hotel I checked on the metro line, including in Alexandria), apparently due to visiting GWU. Hotel staff extremely helpful from the moment we walked in. Let us check in early, and gave us advice for nearby restaurants. We had 2 rooms with 2 double beds each, note that the beds are doubles, not queens). There was plenty of room for a cot (which was supplied at an extra cost). Only thing missing for me was brewed coffee in the lobby (although there is a coffee maker in the room with hotel sized single servings). The lobby is very small and utilitarian. Whole Foods grocery store and cafe is a short walk (5 - 10 minutes) and so I went there every morning for coffee and pastries for the kids.
Will stay again.01/29/2012

We stayed here in 2010 and we were pleasantly surprised. It is in a great location, close to metro and within walking distance to almost everything. The stall was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was out of this world fantastic. We plan on staying again this year.
