My wife and I stay at this Hotel every year for her birthday. Usually we spend a weekend enjoying the: Jacuzzi, the room, each other & CocoWalk. Very romantic hotel, with plenty of shops, restaurants & nightclubs within walking distance. PROS: Centrally located, beautiful rooms, Jacuzzi, recently renovated, great food in restaurant, great Florida Resident rate Specials. CONS: Nightlife goes on till very late (for some).

The hotel is in a great location and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Having said that, it was extremely noisy at night - even into the wee hours. The night club on the roof of the hotel is much too loud! Our room was even located facing away from the club. I don't know how you would be able to sleep if your room was actually close to that night club. Don't know if we would stay there again because of that. Too bad, because other than the noise factor, we really enjoyed our stay there.

I stayed at the hotel for a week in the middle of October, the location across from CocoWalk is great for entertainment and dining choices, however if your room faces CocoWalk the noise can be heard in the room. The rooftop pool had just been completed and is a nice place to relax in the sun! Coconut Grove is a laid back area, if you're looking for a party destination head to South Beach but if you're intending on relaxing the Mayfair is a fine choice.

Excellent hotel. The staff was horrible!! 1st we had to wait for 1 1/2 hr for a maintaince person to come and start the hot tub for us and after he got there he told us ""that why we kept calling the front desk, that he knew he had to come to the room but that he was busy"" After been charge for things we didnt even order they still had us wait 2 hrs after we check out for the manager because he was the only one allowed to refund the money in the our acct. This really ruined or 1st day into our honeymoon!! Wouldnt stay there again!!

Hotel was extremely nice and I will definitely revisit. I was locked out of my room for a little while and it took the staff a while to resolve the issue. That was the only problem.
