The Mayfair staff was consistently solicitous and genuinely welcoming. The staff went out of their way to make every aspect of my stay a memorable one. I was more than pleased to find an immaculately clean room and a bed that facilitated a great night's sleep. The crowning glory of the Mayfair can be found on the roof top where you will find a crystal clear pool, poolside bar, fireplace, luxurious cabananas and lounge chairs as you take in a lovely view of the Bay. The Mayfair offers a peaceful oasis away from the hectic pace of daily life. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I think I would be more positive if the Hotel did not set up too high an expectation. I had a good experience and the room was very clean, however, it lacks the refinement I have experienced in a true boutique hotel.

This hotel is great! I love visiting Miami but don't like staying in south beach. The rooms are very nice and the hotel has such a unique feel. Honestly, even if prices were higher this hotel would sill be a great choice. Close to great beach park(hammock)...Venetian pool...tons of great restaurants in walking distance. Love this place.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Great location to restaruants, shopping and the U of M.Only issue was that EVERYTHING cost extra. Such as $* snicker bars, want the soaking tub on the room patio filled $* (with water), to go from one to two beds $*. Besides the nuiance fees it was great.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Mayfair for 4 nights, and it was an excellent experience! The surrounding nightlife did not disturb our sleep at all, even when we slept with the glass balcony doors open. There is a small outdoor mall/pavilion of stores, bars and restaurants just two blocks away, which provided enormous convenience for food, drinks and touristy shopping. The hotel restaurant's food was also delicious and moderately priced, much to our surprise and glee. The only drawbacks -- despite a nearby park, there was no beach within walking distance, and it was a $40 cab ride to Miami Beach. Other than that, they had a very friendly staff, clean rooms, a gorgeous rooftop pool and excellent food, will definitely visit again!
