We booked this hotel based on location for the two parks we were visiting over the weekend. I must say that this was a great find! First, the location is off the main road, but still VERY close to everything. The Disney parks are within 15 minutes drive with traffic. Sea World and all that is within 10 minutes with traffic (and rain)! Being off the main road actually worked really well because you don't get alot of the traffic noise or anything like that. Second, the hotel itself is a pretty old building, but it has been well maintained and updated. There were some leaks in the foyer and lobby, but nothing in the room. The pool looked nice, but was closed because of the storms and whatnot the weekend we were there. The elevators were a little slow, but they worked and were also well maintained. Next, the room was very much larger than we expected! We got a king room and there was the bed and a couch. Not sure if the couch pulled out or not, we didn't check. There was plenty of room for it to if it did. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, and the fridge was actually cold when we got there unlike alot of hotels we have stayed in. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. To our surprise, there was a balcony, which was very nice. There are three complaints about the room though. The bathroom was VERY small. I have long legs and couldn't close the bathroom door if I was sitting down (if you know what I mean). With a little rearranging the bathroom could be larger. The other big issue was that the door to the balcony did not lock properly. We did not discover this until late the last night we were there, and since we were on the fourth floor, we didn't consider it an emergency. The other issue was the A/C. It did work, but made a strange noise on and off. We weren't quite sure if it was because of the weather or what. Once we turned it off and waited a while, it pretty much stopped. It could definitely use an update though. Overall, this hotel was a great find!! Especially for the money and location! We would stay here again for sure!

This room was very nice, spacious, clean and perfect for a quick getaway weekend. However the TV needs to be updated and cable TV is strongly recommended. The bathroom was super clean, but it needs a paint touch-up or makeup. I have no problems with humble hotels as long they are clean. You should be proud of your housekeeping staff, because they are doing a wonderful job. I will return and I will recommend this cozy hotel to my family and friends. Again, it’s not a fancy hotel but it’s cozy and clean, and for me that’s one of the most important things in the hotels industry. I also need to mention the great location, it’s very close to the parks and it’s totally surrounded by restaurants, four of them on a walking distance.

This Holiday inn express is very convenient to downtown disney. The staff was friendly. The linens, bathroom, and guest room were clean. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices on it. Teas, juices, coffee. hot and cold items as well! The only bummer was we bought suits to use the pool, and there was heat lightning so they closed it! But it looked like it would have been a nice pool with a slide!

Price great for visiting WDW. There from 1-6 Aug 2011. Free limited shuttle bus. Old, but running and a/c worked. Hot items for breakfast, but only had a meat item 1 day (Monday). Could see a bit of fireworks facing WDW around 8:30 I think. View blocked by a Hyatt building. Another around 10, more at a northwest view. Yes, slow elevators, with frequent maintenance. I seem to all ways get the weak WiFi. One bar. But it's free.

I was there for 7 days 6 nights and from the very first day, only one elevator was working. Actually the entire week, only one elevator was working. And the very last day, both elevators were broken. I had to go down from the 5th floor with 3 bags and no one to help me. The soda machine on my floor was broken. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and her response was "they only come one day a week for service". The breakfast was okay, nothing fantastic. Parking at night, not too many spots available. The room had a funny smell. And room service was not the best. One day I was given a wet towel. I was in Orlando for a dance competition and thought I would save money by staying at a cheaper hotel. Well I learned my leasson. Cheaper doesnt always mean better quality.
