This hotel is well located for K street area business but a bit far from tourist spots. About a mile from the closest point on the Mall. Pleasant neighborhood. Rooms have very impersonal decor with sparse seating, but are large enough. Bed was too soft. Restaurant has good food at very reasonable prices. Good work-out room in basement next to so-so business center. Few other amenities. Overall a good deal for travelers paying their own way.

We will recommend this hotel to family and friends. The staff is very informative and friendly. The one thing I did miss was not having a refrigerator in my room, other than that everything was great. It is a nice added touch when you come back from a day of sight seeing and being tired that you walk into your room see that your bed is turned down and you have 2 complimentary bottles of water waiting for you. Nice......

My only real complaint is there was no bathtub in our room. We walked a lot in DC and I would have liked to soak my sore legs. Also Housekeeping came twice a day which I thought was a little strange but not really a big deal.

05/31/2011Pretty costly staying with hidden charge for car parking. concierge couldn't print receipt (usual excuse computer was down!). no restaurant on premises at evening hours. internet connection with security ...
Pretty costly staying with hidden charge for car parking. Concierge couldn't print receipt (usual excuse computer was down!). No restaurant on premises at evening hours. Internet connection with security key that wasn't provided at check-in time. I had to go down to reception area to ask for!

I love this hotel I have stayed here everythime I have visted DC. We have had members of our organization stay here, and all of the events that were catered here reaked of excellence. From the bar area, beautiful swimming pool environment, and lavish clean rooms it is definite a retreat desitination. I would strongly take advantage of a stay here just to experience the wonderful offerings of this hotel. I was especially impressed with the knowledge of the city that Neil (one of the Concierge) possessed I felt welcome when I arrived, and sad to leave.
