I got the recommendation from a friend who had stayed at the hotel in previous years. I must say that my stay at the Embassy was one of the best that I have ever had. I have stayed at numerous other hotels and I must say that this tops them all. I will be sure to stay there again whenever I am in the Miami area.

If you are expecting the normally high standards of Embassy Suites, you will not find it at the Miami International Airport Embassy Suites. The room was smelled (non smoking), furniture heavily stained, refrigerator not working (it was plugged in), one light fixture was broke, another one was missing a light bulb; (the bed was comfortable however); remote for BR TV would change channels but not volume control. The room was something you might find in a seedy section of Las Vegas. The Breakfast buffet...good luck trying to find utensils. We did manage to get a few spoons, but forks seemed to be a premium item. They were also pretty slow to refill food items. And to top it off, be prepared to pay $* a day to park in their lot. We stayed two days (waiting for our cruise), but will never stay there again.

I was not satisfied with the location or service at this hotel. The staff was not hospitable either. The hotel was cold in temperature and the extras were over priced. I went with my daughter and the security was less than acceptable- loud persons in the hall way drinking alcoholic beverages. I would not stay again and I have voiced my complaint to their corporate office.

We stayed one night preparing to cruise the next day. The room didn't "smell" as if it was non-smoking but it looked fairly clean. Carpets were worn and the smell made it seem a little more dirty than it probably was. The room was a suite which provided plenty of room for my wife and I and our daughter. Our plane was delayed and they were great when I called them, letting me know they would put a note on our room as a "late arrival." When we landed I was able to contact the hotel and sent the shuttle out. The next morning, the complimentary breakfast was awesome! Very friendly staff and very good food. I'm an early riser so we missed the crowed! Getting a shuttle to the Port of Miami was no problem either. The staff were very helpful in getting that together. The desk staff went to great lengths to get my family on the same shuttle as the rest of our group (we didn't know they were getting us reservations). Though she was unsuccessful, it was not due to her lack of trying! Overall, a great stay in a good room! The service made if for me and more than made up for the negatives of the room itself.

This was the worse hotel that I ever stayed in! Embassy is a trusted chain but this one on a scale of 1-5 I would rate it a -5. The room ir-conditioning did not work properly, I made no less than 100 calls to the front desk no aval. There was only on trash can in the entire room, I had to clean the bathroom before I sue it. I just throw my money out the dam window!
