The room wa small, but hte layout was great wiht more than enought storage. My only issue was the nect to little amount of light in the bathroom. My room definitely needed to have more than one can light in the entire bathroom.

The hotel was beautiful! We were very impressed with everything about it. All staff members were amazing! The hotel was close to the subway and was within walking distance to many sights. It was very clean, and comfortable. Having a great place to go to everyday after sight seeing and walking all day was a plus. We will definitely go back!

We were very happy with the hotel. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable and clean. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice. The hotel is near Madison Square Garden and allows dogs, important if you are showing at Westminster. It is also close to the subway. One criticism--no coffee pot in the room.

The Carlton is fairly central to things a tourist would want to do in NYC. The Empire State Building, Macy's and Times Square are all within a mile of the hotel. The room was nice and had a huge bathroom. The beds were comfortable and there was a good sized flat screen TV with a decent selection of channels. What really made the hotel nice was the staff. Whenever my husband had a question the staff was polite and helpful with a quick useful answer. We had to leave around 4:20 in the morning for our 6:15 flight and even at that early hour the staff was polite friendly and helpful, not what you expect in a big city. Probably one of the nicest hotels we've stay in.
