Within the past month i have stayed at the holiday inn Berkshires to look at colleges in the area. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond what i would have expected from any hotel. Check in was very smooth, the Guest service Manager, whose name was Bill checked me in. He was very professional and eager to point me in the right direction to fulfill my needs.
The room was clean,spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I had a great view of the mountains and the downtown area.
Although the restaurant on the propery was currently closed i was directed to a great spot of breakfast, called the cup and saucer. they were right on Main St and a very easy walk. I had a great dinner at the Grammery Bistro, another restaurant that was within walking distance from the hotel.
It seemed like i should have paid more for the excellent service that i got while staying at this hotel. So, i recommend to everyone to come and check out the Holiday Inn Berkshires -

This was a great place to visit. My children loved the museums. Mass Moca, The Clark, and the Berkshire Museum were worth the trip. The hotel on the other hand was terrible. The staff was rude, the hotel was not very clean. The food in the restaurant was okay, but the service wasn't all that great. I do plan to visit the Berkshires again, but will do more research on the other accommodations in the area. If I have to pay a little more for excellent service and friendly faces I will.

I have traveled a lot in my day and this is horrible. The room was okay, the bathroom was filthy. The staff was rude. It is just not worthy the headache. I would really recommend to anyone to not stay here. Try the Williams Inn the price is a little more, but the service is excellent.
