High price for not much substance

Even though in season, $* per night was too expensive for this hotel. The staff was nice and the cleaning service was good. However, overall, the facility needed updates: the hallway smelled stale; the air in the room needed circulation but we could not open the windows; the windows were dirty and needed cleaning; and the carpet was dirty and damp needed to be changed. They also did not provide breakfast. (They referred us to Denny's next door, but there was no discount. You could also pay for bagels at the convenience store on site.) The noise from other guests were loud and sometimes went on into the night. The location was not the greatest: not next to the beach and we had to drive to the beach and restaurants that we wanted to go to (lower streets). However, on the plus side, there were plenty of shops and eatery places nearby. Overall, I was not much "comforted" at this Comfort Inn. I was happy that there was a tub/shower and nice comfortable beds, but for the price, we should expect clean fresh air and cleaner facility. Even though we were out most of the time, I felt like I did not look forward to go back to the hotel much. We will not be staying here again.

The hotel was really cheap but it came with a price. I went and the pool was no heated like it said and the hot spa was not in service. This was a big selling point to me. The Denny's made me feel ill for about 2 days so i don't recommend it. The rooms themselves are really nice and very roomy and comfortable. The maid staff also did a very good job cleaning.

I was pleased with the accommodations at this hotel. The only negative would be that I thought all Comfort Inns provided continental breakfast. We are not big breakfast people, but do like a roll or some cold cereal and a cup of coffee and juice.

08/28/2009Hotel was not good. however their workers were nice and helpful. now back to the hotel. first, frig did not work properly...ice machine was out....gym plus the equipment ...
Hotel was not good. However their workers were nice and helpful. Now back to the hotel. First, frig did not work properly...ice machine was out....gym plus the equipment did not work...the indoor pool did not have clear water...tried to lap swim WITH goggles and still had to count strokes. Guess ya get what ya pay for. Prices are outrageous in Ocean City.

I must say that I was skeptical about the stay at the Comfort Inn, but it was truly a delight! The best part was the incredible and unexpected comfort of the bed! I slept like a log for the two nights that I stayed there and felt great the following day. If you need a good place to stay that's away from a lot of the crowds of OC, this is definitely a great hotel to choose, especially for the rate we paid.
