This hotel was just okay. It was a bit outdated looking, but if you need a place to stay and don't need something fancy, it will work just fine. My only complaint is I thought we would be right on the boardwalk. I was not aware, nor was I told there were two different buildings to this particular hotel and we were in the building that sits in the alley on the side street behind the main part of the hotel. I think that should have been mentioned upfront. The picture only shows the main building that sits on the boardwalk.

Had a family outing for a 4 day getaway in April for our anniversary. It was the same weekend as the Kite Festival taking place on the beach, enjoyed the sights of the many kites and the regge music from the kite loft next door - can't beat free entertainment! The pool is nice, glad there were changing rooms in the pool room, since it is in a building separated from the main hotel by the parking lot - made for a chilly dash to our room! The hotel staff was all terrific, loved the free breakfast (waffles, fruit, cereal, hot and cold drinks). Full kitchen was a terrific feature!

The Comfort Inn is an inexpensive hotel and definately a good buy. It was not anything fancy or extravagant, but a great value considering it is oceanfront as well as on the boardwalk. It came with a free continental breakfast, so if you have a family, it is a money saver. The breakfast area was very crowded however, I recommend going early.

We really enjoyed our stay in OC. The indoor pool area was a big hit with my daughter. It was a little too chilly to play in the ocean, but she loved swimming inside. Breakfast was very good as well.
