We were expecting a hotel but this was definately not that. The front desk service was great from the first day to the last for 5 days. Music and bar at the pool was great, just would have been a little better if it was open past the 6/7pm mark. Pool was open and fun for the family until midnight. Evening lobby music was nice after hours. A very convenient stay for a family vacation with the ammenities - restuarant, pool, pizzeria, beach access, & a balcony overlooking the water. Disappointment was the cleaning personel who didn't seem to understand english when told room service was not needed directly. Definately would stay again and recommend to others.

We had high expectations for this hotel ""resort"", but it failed to meet our expectations. The rooms were very clean and did not have the classic musty beach smell, but the service side of the ""resort"" was not there. The pool side bar and food was not open the entire time we were stayed there and the staff wasn't to be seen unless you were in their restaurant. Pro's: Clean Breakfast buffet reasonably priced Right on the Beach Con's: Lack of service Pool side bar closed Restaurant food not very good No snack pantry -- (souvenir store had soda's/candy bars only -- limited hours) There was not a snack/supplies pantry as many of the other nicer hotels/resorts also have in this price range. I would guess they have reduced service due to the slower than normal families vacationing in the area this year, but we payed for an experience that we just didn't get here. If you are just looking for a clean bed this is a good place, but it is not a resort quality vacation.

The room was tiny and outdated, the pool-side chairs were mildew-stained, the distance from the hotel to the beach chairs was a very long walk. The hotel lobby is beautiful, but the rest doesn't match up. We checked out without staying. We expected a high-quality place, but it's more like a budget hotel.

I have stayed here at least twice before...but never again. My main issue was the rude and inflexible management. I honestly don't think they care much about customers. Read a few of the other reviews that we read that said the same thing. Not to be confused with the folks on the ground floor who were very nice. Great location is the plus, however, we have stayed at many others that are right down the street and nicer. We found a roach in our room, that freaked the kids out. The pool was dirty and much of the equipment in the fitness room wasn't working (treadmills, elipticles etc). The view from our room was nice, but, the room itself was okay at best. The beds were terrible. Overall, I think they are starting to go down hill at the same time many other places are available for a better value. Disappointing. I brought 20 people from my team there in the past. They will never see our business again.

These folks are quite cordial. The hotel has aged gracefully and is still well managed and quite clean. Room service and housekeeping were more than adequate. With seasonal rates in effect, this place is a bargain.
